Rebecca Hart & The Sexy Children is a name certainly hard to forget. Rebecca Hart won over the crowd at their sold-out show in New York City with her hilarious banter and beautiful vocals on February 15, 2009, when this Summer release was recorded. The variety of mellow and upbeat tempos that emanates in each song serves to captivate the listener and keep them wanting more as each track ends.

Their cover of “Whipping Post” manages to slow down the track while still staying true to its lively rhythm and guitar solos. “Celebrity Down” pulls you in slowly and pushes you out quickly with its relaxing verse and fast-paced chorus, a similar quality of several of the tracks on this album.

Another highly anticipated album from Rebecca Hart is expected to be recorded this coming summer with Hip Folk after she returns from an acting stint in Washington, D.C.
