All artists are free to put up artist profiles, along with a customizable blog, pictures, videos, bios, EPK, tour schedules, links, streaming songs, promo’s - you name it. We also offer a blog area where our Music Team writes up album reviews and up to the minute news for our artists. We believe in the powers of cross-promotion; one bands fans will be introduced to another band on the site, maximizing your exposure.
Hip Folk Records
Any artist is given the opportunity create their own artist page which, if they express interest, opens the doors to our vetting process to consider them for recording deals, management contracts, and booking opportunities.
Hip Folk Records has released two albums, a hit EP, and a single. You can find these albums on the “Store” tab of HipFolkinc.com. A Bronx based hip-folk trio, The Peace, is the first band to be incorporated into the record label. Their self-titled debut can be found at every major record store, either in-store and digitally, as well as several independent music retailers across the United States. The Peace has been charted along with Jack Johnson, Phish, and The String Cheese Incident, as #28 of the 30 best radio played albums in the country!
